IELTS রাইটিং টাস্ক ২ পেপারে 11 ধরনের প্রশ্ন আসে। প্রতিটির জন্য আলাদা পদ্ধতি আছে — কোনটিতে কী করতে হবে আর কোন ভুলটি সবচেয়ে বেশি নম্বর কাটে, নিচে প্রতিটির জন্য আলাদা করে দেওয়া আছে।
The IELTS Writing Task 2 paper uses 11 question types. Each one is marked differently and each has its own method. Below is what to do and what to avoid for every single one.
The golden rule for the whole Writing Task 2 paper
প্রতিটি নির্দেশ-শব্দ দাগ দিন। লেখার আগে পরিকল্পনা করুন। Introduction, Body 1, Body 2 ও Conclusion ব্যবহার করুন।
Underline every instruction word. Plan before writing. Use Introduction, Body 1, Body 2 and Conclusion. Keep one clear position and answer every part of the prompt.
Agree or disagree
Do: একটি স্পষ্ট অবস্থান নিন এবং পুরো রচনায় সেটি ধরে রাখুন। প্রতিটি body প্যারাগ্রাফে কারণ ও উদাহরণ দিন।
Do: Choose a clear position before writing and support it with two developed reasons and examples.
Do not: মাঝপথে অবস্থান বদলাবেন না বা দুই পক্ষকে সমান করে অবস্থানহীন থাকবেন না।
Do not: Discuss both sides equally without showing your own answer.
To what extent do you agree?
Do: কতটা একমত তা স্পষ্ট করুন - সম্পূর্ণ, আংশিক না দ্বিমত - এবং সেটিই প্রমাণ করুন।
Do: State fully, mostly or partly and keep that degree consistent throughout the essay.
Do not: প্রশ্নের মাত্রা উপেক্ষা করে শুধু বিষয় নিয়ে সাধারণ আলোচনা লিখবেন না।
Do not: Change your level of agreement between the introduction and conclusion.
Discuss both views + opinion
Do: দুটি মতকে আলাদা প্যারাগ্রাফে সমান গুরুত্বে আলোচনা করুন, তারপর নিজের মত স্পষ্টভাবে দিন।
Do: Explain both views fairly, one in each body paragraph, and make your opinion clear throughout.
Do not: একটি মত আলোচনা করে অন্যটি বাদ দেবেন না, আর মতামত দিতে ভুলবেন না।
Do not: Explain only one view or hide your opinion until the conclusion.
Advantages and disadvantages
Do: সুবিধা ও অসুবিধা আলাদা প্যারাগ্রাফে দিন, প্রতিটির ব্যাখ্যা ও উদাহরণসহ।
Do: Explain the strongest advantages and disadvantages in separate paragraphs with clear examples.
Do not: শুধু তালিকা বানাবেন না - প্রতিটি পয়েন্ট ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do not: Answer whether one side outweighs the other when the prompt does not ask that.
Do advantages outweigh
Do: কোন দিকটি ভারী তা স্পষ্ট করে বলুন এবং তুলনা করে সেটি প্রমাণ করুন।
Do: Discuss both sides, then clearly prove which side is stronger overall.
Do not: দুই দিক লিখে সিদ্ধান্ত না দিয়ে শেষ করবেন না।
Do not: Only list advantages and disadvantages without making a judgement.
Positive or negative development
Do: এটি ইতিবাচক না নেতিবাচক পরিবর্তন স্পষ্ট করে বলুন, তারপর কারণ ও প্রভাব দিয়ে ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Choose the overall evaluation and explain why the development is mainly positive, negative or carefully balanced.
Do not: শুধু পরিবর্তনটি বর্ণনা করে মূল্যায়ন বাদ দেবেন না।
Do not: Describe pros and cons without answering whether the development is positive or negative.
Problems and solutions
Do: প্রতিটি সমস্যার সঙ্গে সরাসরি মিল রেখে সমাধান দিন এবং সমাধান কীভাবে কাজ করবে ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Describe specific problems, then give practical solutions that directly address those problems.
Do not: সমস্যার সঙ্গে সম্পর্কহীন সাধারণ সমাধান লিখবেন না।
Do not: Write causes instead of problems or offer unrelated solutions.
Causes and solutions
Do: প্রকৃত কারণগুলো চিহ্নিত করুন এবং প্রতিটি কারণ ধরে বাস্তবসম্মত সমাধান দিন।
Do: Explain the root causes in Body 1 and match each important cause with a workable solution in Body 2.
Do not: কারণ আর প্রভাব গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
Do not: Only describe the results of the issue.
Causes and effects
Do: কারণ ও ফলাফল আলাদা রাখুন এবং কোনটি কোনটির দিকে নিয়ে যায় স্পষ্ট করুন।
Do: Explain why the issue happens, then show its main consequences with clear cause-effect links.
Do not: সমাধান লিখবেন না - প্রশ্ন সমাধান চায়নি।
Do not: Give solutions when the question asks only for causes and effects.
Two-part direct questions
Do: দুটি প্রশ্নেরই আলাদা প্যারাগ্রাফে সরাসরি উত্তর দিন।
Do: Answer Question 1 in one body paragraph and Question 2 in the other. Give a direct answer to both.
Do not: একটির উত্তর দিয়ে অন্যটি এড়িয়ে যাবেন না।
Do not: Spend most of the essay on one question and ignore the second.
Hybrid / mixed question
Do: প্রতিটি নির্দেশ-শব্দ আলাদা করে চিহ্নিত করুন এবং প্রতিটির জন্য একটি করে অংশ পরিকল্পনা করুন।
Do: Underline every task, decide which paragraph answers each requirement, and check them all before finishing.
Do not: প্রশ্নের কোনো অংশ বাদ দেবেন না।
Do not: Force a memorised essay structure onto a prompt it does not answer.
