In Academic Reading, Band 7 is 30 correct out of 40 and Band 6 is 23. In Listening, Band 7 is also 30 out of 40. The seven questions between Band 6 and Band 7 are almost always True/False/Not Given and Matching Headings in Reading, and spelling in Listening.
