IELTS স্পিকিং পার্ট ২ পেপারে 12 ধরনের প্রশ্ন আসে। প্রতিটির জন্য আলাদা পদ্ধতি আছে — কোনটিতে কী করতে হবে আর কোন ভুলটি সবচেয়ে বেশি নম্বর কাটে, নিচে প্রতিটির জন্য আলাদা করে দেওয়া আছে।
The IELTS Speaking Part 2 paper uses 12 question types. Each one is marked differently and each has its own method. Below is what to do and what to avoid for every single one.
The golden rule for the whole Speaking Part 2 paper
প্রস্তুতির সময় শুধু ছোট নোট-শব্দ লিখুন। ছোট একটা গল্প সাজান: বিষয় পরিচয়, বিস্তারিত, তারপর অনুভূতি বা ফলাফল।
Write only short note words during preparation. Build a small story: introduce the topic, cover every bullet, add details and finish with your feeling or why it matters.
Describe a person
Do: কে, সম্পর্ক, দুটি বৈশিষ্ট্য এবং একটি স্মৃতি বলুন, তারপর কেন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Say who the person is, your relationship, key qualities, one real example and why the person matters.
Do not: শুধু বিশেষণের তালিকা দেবেন না।
Do not: List personality adjectives without a story.
Describe a place
Do: কোথায়, কেমন দেখতে, সেখানে কী করেন বলুন এবং কেন ভালো লাগে ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Explain where it is, what it looks like, what you do there and how it makes you feel.
Do not: শুধু অবস্থান বলে থেমে যাবেন না।
Do not: Only give geographical information.
Describe an object
Do: এটি কী, কেমন দেখতে, কীভাবে পেলেন ও কীভাবে ব্যবহার করেন বলুন।
Do: Say what it is, how you got it, how you use it and why it is important.
Do not: শুধু দাম বা ব্র্যান্ড নিয়ে কথা বলবেন না।
Do not: Only list physical features.
Describe an event or experience
Do: কখন, কোথায়, কারা ছিল ও কী ঘটেছিল বলুন, তারপর অনুভূতি দিয়ে শেষ করুন।
Do: Set the time and place, tell events in order, then explain the result and feeling.
Do not: ঘটনার ক্রম এলোমেলো করবেন না।
Do not: Jump between moments without a clear sequence.
Describe a journey or trip
Do: কোথা থেকে কোথায়, কীভাবে গেলেন ও পথে কী হয়েছিল বলুন।
Do: Cover destination, companions, key events and why the journey was memorable.
Do not: শুধু গন্তব্য বর্ণনা করবেন না - যাত্রাটিই বিষয়।
Do not: Turn the whole answer into a description of the destination.
Describe an activity or hobby
Do: কী করেন, কত ঘন ঘন, কীভাবে শুরু করেছিলেন বলুন এবং কেন উপভোগ করেন ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Explain what it is, how you started, how often you do it and its benefits.
Do not: শুধু নাম বলে থামবেন না।
Do not: Repeat the cue-card bullets without adding detail.
Describe a skill or achievement
Do: দক্ষতাটি কী, কীভাবে শিখলেন, কত সময় লেগেছিল বলুন এবং এটি কী বদলে দিল ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Explain the goal, learning process, difficulty, result and why you felt proud.
Do not: শেখার প্রক্রিয়া বাদ দেবেন না।
Do not: Mention the achievement without showing the process.
Describe a challenge
Do: পরিস্থিতি, সমস্যা, আপনি কী করেছিলেন এবং ফলাফল বলুন।
Do: Explain the problem, what you did, the outcome and what you learned.
Do not: শুধু অভিযোগ করবেন না - সমাধানটাই মূল।
Do not: Keep the challenge vague or omit the solution.
Describe media or artwork
Do: এটি কী, বিষয়বস্তু কী, কখন দেখলেন বা শুনলেন বলুন এবং কেন মনে আছে ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Identify it, summarise the content briefly, give your reaction and explain why you recommend it.
Do not: পুরো কাহিনি শুরু থেকে শেষ পর্যন্ত বলবেন না।
Do not: Retell the entire plot and forget your opinion.
Describe technology or a service
Do: এটি কী, কী কাজে লাগে, কীভাবে ব্যবহার করেন বলুন এবং কীভাবে সাহায্য করে ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Explain what it does, how you use it, its main benefit and one possible limitation.
Do not: কারিগরি বিবরণে হারিয়ে যাবেন না।
Do not: Use unnecessary technical language you cannot control.
Describe an occasion
Do: উপলক্ষ, কে ছিল, কী হয়েছিল বলুন এবং কেন বিশেষ ছিল ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Say when it happened, who attended, what happened and why it was meaningful.
Do not: সাধারণভাবে উৎসব বর্ণনা করবেন না - নির্দিষ্ট একটি উপলক্ষ বলুন।
Do not: Only list people, food or decorations.
Describe a decision, plan or idea
Do: সিদ্ধান্তটি কী, কেন নিয়েছিলেন, কীভাবে করলেন বলুন এবং ফলাফল ব্যাখ্যা করুন।
Do: Give the situation, possible choices, final decision, reason and outcome.
Do not: শুধু ভবিষ্যতের ইচ্ছা বলবেন না - প্রক্রিয়াটি বলুন।
Do not: State the decision but skip why or what happened afterward.
Sit one instead of reading about it
